How do we ensure healthy students at WRE? Here are a few of the ways.
Morning Snack Time: It is our expectation that students will eat a healthy snack during the morning snack. These are items that are 'grown in the ground'
or dairy products (eg. carrots, apples, yogurt). As well, all students are encouraged to have a water bottle at their desk.
Hot Lunch: Our PAC encourages proper healthy food choices by providing these types of options for our Hot Lunch days. For more information, click on the following picture:
Daily Physical Acitivity: We encourage all classes at WRE to utilize Daily Physical Activity time. It has become a part of our class routines,
and demonstrates that building bodies and minds is a priority for our students.
